The BSE StAR MF platform is India's largest online mutual fund transaction processing system, offering a seamless and convenient platform for investors to invest and manage their mutual fund portfolios.
It supports a wide range of mutual fund transactions, including subscription, redemption, switch, SIPs, SWPs, and intra-AMC transfers.
Introduced in 2009, BSE StAR MF has revolutionized the mutual fund industry by streamlining the order execution process, enhancing transparency, and providing real-time access to account information.
With over 40 AMCs & over 1 million Mutual fund distributors, BSE Star MF Platform executes about 360 million transactions in a year, which is over 60% of all the Mutual fund transactions that happens in India.

- Two-factor authentication: Users must enter their username, password, and a one-time passcode (OTP) to login to the platform. The OTP is sent to the user's registered mobile number or email address.
- Data encryption: All data transmitted between the user's browser and the BSE StAR MF platform is encrypted using 128-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption. This ensures that the data cannot be intercepted and read by unauthorized parties.
- Access controls: Access to the platform is controlled by user roles and permissions. This ensures that only authorized users can access sensitive data and perform transactions.
